A campus estate that changes completely every September.
Thousands of accounts, thousands of devices and a support load that arrives in waves, managed on a platform built to absorb both.

Shared computer lab, start of term.
The intake is annual, and the IT team is not
Universities and institutes onboard a new cohort every year, hand out accounts and devices at the same time, and then support a population that is largely unfamiliar with any of it. The estate is mixed, the labs are shared, and the support load is not spread evenly across the calendar: it arrives at the start of term and again at every deadline.
What a campus estate does to a small IT team
A support load that arrives all at once
Account problems, device setup and access requests land in the same fortnight every year, against the same headcount.

Five practice areas, configured for a campus

One desk for students, staff and faculty
A catalogue written in plain language, self-service that actually answers, and routing that separates a lab fault from a lost password.
- Separate catalogues for students and staff
- Knowledge base that deflects the common requests
- Reporting by faculty, campus and term
Built for the shape of an academic year
- 01
16 years of delivery in Oman
Including campuses where the whole rollout had to happen between two terms.
- 02
Local team based in Muscat
On campus during the weeks that matter, not on a ticket queue elsewhere.
- 03
Automation where the volume is
Provisioning, reimaging and password reset automated first, because that is where a small team gets its time back.
- 04
Rollouts planned around terms
Implementation scheduled against the academic calendar, with go-live away from enrolment and exams.
- ManageEngine Gold Partner
- ITIL-aligned service delivery
- ISO 27001-aligned practices
- In-country data residency options
Four stages, and you always know where you are
The same method whichever sector you are in. What changes is what we assess against and who signs each stage off.
- 01

We map the current estate, the priorities, the risks and the measures of success before proposing anything.

- 02
Implement
Configuration, integration, migration and testing, run to a schedule your team signs off.
- Configured platform
- Integrations tested
- Migration completed
- 03
Enable
Training, runbooks and documentation are delivered before handover, not after.
- Role-based training
- Runbooks
- Administrator handover
- 04
Operate
Health checks, upgrades and quarterly reviews keep the platform current as the organisation changes.

Education questions
Can accounts be created in bulk from our student record system?
Yes. Provisioning runs from the record system on a schedule, so an intake becomes a job that runs rather than a fortnight of manual work.
How are lab machines kept in their intended state?
Configuration is enforced and drift is corrected automatically, with a full reimage available on a schedule or on demand per lab.
Does device management work for laptops off campus?
Yes. Agents check in over the internet, so patching and policy follow the device home rather than waiting for it to return.
Can students reset their own passwords?
Yes, with MFA, and it is usually the single change that most reduces the queue. It is worth doing before anything else.
Can implementation avoid the start of term?
It should. We plan around the academic calendar, and go-live is scheduled into a quiet period with enablement finished before the intake arrives.
